good questions. Nebraska OWNED recruiting

in the states that surround it, except maybe Iowa. They lost that recruiting edge by joining the BIG IMO. Nebraska would have been better off in the B12 (if you set money aside). KU basketball is fine where it is. They have recruited nationally for decades, and while the top players are migrating to the money, KU (and Duke for that matter), will do fine where they are. As you migrate to the Plains States, and further West, there are no "regional" schools that are drivable like you have along the East Coast, so travel expenses have always been high for the athletic departments, and the non revs pretty much are on a plane for every game except one or two per school. Nebraska may get a coach, and compete again. KU may as well, because Self will retire soon IMO because of health reasons. Both of those schools will be fine no matter which conference they are in, but as you guys know, coaching and recruiting continues to be a major factor, as it's not just the money.
