Ya know, I remember you and I discussing over the years

what a stupid 💩 Larry Scott was wrt his decision making and his handling of the PAC 12 conference, particularly the conference network while lining his own pockets and distributing less and less to the individual schools. The linked article demonstrates how that decision not to expand basically killed the conference. It’s been 13 years since he made that ill fatal decision and the schools going right along with him. However, there’s no assurance that the annexation of 4 Big 12 schools in 2011/2012 would have preserved the Pac 12 through this latest go round o conference realignment, but I believe it would have made it more difficult. ** Edited by RJHokie at 7/5/2024, 7:13:39 PM
