Tying schools together in this (maybe) shakeup seems silly

a. It's just athletics conference membership...if one of VT/UVa were to go P2 and the other not, it's hardly the end of the world (for, you know, those academic things attached to football that are really what the institutions exist for). b. Even if you buy the "left behind" narrative, who cares? So one school has something that the other doesn't? GASP! They're not supposed to be one united institution or 2 identical separate ones. I don't see the VA legislature giving VT more money to make up for the endowment deficit it has to UVa...OMG, we're being left behind!
