Oh I agree with you. I hate seeing a school cut a men's sport (or sports)

so it could add another men's sports. NE-Omaha may still be the worst example of that. Trev Alberts was their AD at the time and he cut football, which was no big loss since they hadn't won in ages, and wrestling hours after it won the NCAA DII National Championship, which the school hosted, as a part of its effort to become a DI school. Trev did eventually add men's ice hockey so the school could be compliant. According to The Meadowlarks on YouTube, 90% of the DI schools aren't currently compliant with Title IX now. Unfortunately, they provided any details on the criteria used to reach that conclusion other than the information was shared at a recent conference in DC attended by 1 of the hosts. If the report is accurate, then that could be a reason the schools don't add the sport even if they could afford it.
