well if you want to be technical the enterprise value of all these schools
Ohio State, VT , JMU etc. is pretty much zero on a cash flow basis as no one is paying dividends or returning financial value to shareholders- whatever revenue you generate gets spent.
And in pro sports the payoff is when you sell the franchise to some other egotistical bigger fool, because again they arent generating much, if any, positive cash flow either.
So yeah this "analysis" is just a pageantry of revenue generation , not truly "value".
