but only in the short term if there was an immediate need (as Oregon State and WSU). Since these contract games spread out over years, it will not be difficult for ND to schedule late games. GT has one, Clemson has one. Those accommodations are made - why do you think it would be different for ND? As an example, if ND left, or was kicked out of the ACC, do you think that VT would turn down a ND game in October of November in 2030 and 2031? Would LSU, Bama, or just about ANY FBS school? Washington State and UConn do not have that kind of sway, but it's my bet that ND does. I do not buy this idea that ND will have trouble scheduling games later in the season. Not a chance.
