Otherwise, why stop it. Right now they are on schedule to get ACC content at a very cheap price. Every year that continues, they make money. And the way the ACC has fought this is way better than what the B12 and PAC did. I don't think ESPN wants to lose Clemson/FSU and other ACC content to the Big. So the ACC tying up FSU in court is keeping everything static while ESPN works behind the scenes to finally get what they want. Could be that what ESPN wants is to keep the ACC and their payments to the teams as is until 2036
