A misconception is that FSU and Clemson are ESPN properties. They

are not. ESPN used to own content in the Big 10. Media deals ebb and flow. More importantly, if ESPN doesn't want their contracts made public, they probably need to do some actuarial assessments, and determine what is worse - Paying the ACC, like they probably should, or take the public risk of airing out their laundry publicly. 2036 went away the second FSU filed suit. ** Edited by Big12 guy at 7/17/2024, 7:32:34 PM
