Same here.

Packer fan because of Carroll Dale. Dodger fan because of my dad. VT fan my whole life and Beamer being from my hometown turbo charged that. Knew all the coaches, players (both O and D depth charts). Climbed up the Hokie Club ranking. With age comes the realization that sports is not the be all and end all of human existence. All these changes coming only puts sports in its proper place in my life.
