but doing nothing on the national scene. If Wake was making the CFP-4 and knocking off SEC teams there, that would bring plenty of attention to the ACC. In fact, it would be better if we have many teams alternating winning the ACC and winning games in the CFP. Problem is, we don't. We have Clemson winning the ACC almost every year and being the only team to do anything in the CFP this past decade. As a result, the nation looks at our conference slate of games and says, "Will Clemson be able to sleepwalk through that schedule and come out undefeated to make the CFP." And, "we won't be able to know how good Clemson is until the CFP since they don't play anybody." I don't like that it's this way, but there's no denying it.
