Do they need Stanford? Nope.

Does Stanford give them anything (broadcast wise) they don't have with USC/UCLA? Nope. Does it give them more cable households? Nope.

I think he means the importance of ratings in valuations is trending up.

Don't see the SEC going to California
EDGEMAN 06/27/23 09:13 AM ET
I don’t see the SEC going there either, but the B1G is probable IMHO.**

I think his comment was that the B1G may go Stanford also.**

San Francisco/Northern California population is huge, yeah they want those
Stech 06/27/23 12:47 PM ET
San Francisco is like NY. It is a pro sports town. **
VT ChemE 1986 06/27/23 05:34 PM ET
Agreed, but the B1G expansion model for the last 9 years is take NFL cities**

Was it part of the deal with USC/UCLA……Yep**
CrystalCoveHokie 06/27/23 12:15 PM ET
Think so too, IMHO the non-revs will mainly play a Regional Regular season.
Stech 06/27/23 12:52 PM ET
I think many of The PAC schools will be reunited in The B1G.
