games. I am with them on this one, the Opt Out Bowls are awful and meaningless. I would rather see big matchups in week zero for all and not just a chosen few. I agree on the Conference Championship games, they are almost as meaningless as the Opt Out Bowls. They can be called the Knock Out Conference Championships. You are right the B12 and ACC came up with the 5+11, and the SEC figured out they would probably get more teams, and then jumped on board. Maybe this the B1G's counter punch to make sure the SEC doesn't have so many teams in the playoff. B1G and SEC are back to competing and not cooperating now, which is probably best for the rest. Their collusion to build a monopoly was awful for keeping the nation plugged in, especially if 8 Schools get in because they happen to be in their conference(s).
