We are already on bargain contracts and shuttered to poor timeslots. We are currently experiencing a massive revenue shortfall against the P2. And, yes, football-wise that never changes. We will never get the ratings they do...but we already don't get them. The reason we get $$ to begin with is ESPN and Fox need far more inventory than the SEC and B10 provides. That absolutely does not change our money position if every non-P2 league leaves. So we keep getting the money, we keep getting on TV, and our football playoff would generate enough revenue to keep us in our current financial position, only the relativity to the P2 finances would no longer matter. Everything you said about Michigan vs Texas is right. But this isn't the NFL. This is college sports. And colleges have loads of sports their alumni are very proud of, especially Michigan and Texas.
