Envision three ESPN alums and J. Swarbrick inviting you into their garden of wealth for everyone. If I were a cynic, I might detect a scent of subterfuge. I think the B1G needs to derail this, whether Sankey buys-in or not. I have long been concerned about The SEC's prospects for keeping up with The B1G in media money. The B1G needs to add only a few strategic pieces for their OTA's to have an advertising goldmine. It doesn't even need to be Earth shattering, like USC/UCLA. It could be as simple as Miami/Ga Tech and two of Az St/Stanford/Utah. And what if ND acquiesces? The SEC will counter with streaming subscriptions... I guess.
