20 Years ago would've been no fear

Agreed, in a way it depends on how well the season, but in another it doesn't. It pretty much just varies our chances of making P2. If we get to top 10-15 nat'l football programs again, I'd pretty much give us a 99% shot to make P2. That's why they're pumping as much money into FB as possible. That's where the money has and will always be. The metrics measured in the video referenced data from at most the past 10 years. We're at the top of the pack only talking about this past decade. I wouldn't be surprised to see us surpass some of those schools that consider their spots secured if we only found some success. In the event of a crash and burn season, we (according to the video) pull more average fans than EVERY B12 team. We also pull more viewers than most, and have the lion's share of a huge football market in VA. People seem to think UVA has a secured spot in the B1G. I just don't see it. There's a reason Lane North's attendance averages just 30k. Conferences are buying markets when they invite schools, but there's just very little football (where the money's at) market for UVA. As for timing, I guess we're going to have to count to three and jump at some point to avoid going down with this ship.

Agreed. Worst case we end up in the third best conference.

I agree with this, and it is a wish list for the B12 as it would
