The ACC leadership (ie.e ACC Presidents) were fat, dumb, and happy with
the GOR - thinking it was the be all and end all answer. When, instead, they should have seen the threat and moved earlier by expanding. Two-three years ago there was talk of an ACC-PAC merger but according to reports the ACC U Presidents did not like the geo fit. Well..... where did that get them.. expansion with PAC schools that were the less than desirable PAC teams
