There are dozens (at least) of people who were involved in this escapade. Many will have their opportunity to talk to the investigators, and to eventually speak publicly, if they so wish. I am trying hard to reserve judgement about this. I admit to harboring an impulse toward "guilty." Some of the difficulty in discussing this thing is keeping both sides focusing on the same subject. M supporters say this is about "sign stealing." M detractors talk about "in-person scouting." Steve Deace says it's about the definition of "scout." The recent suspension has elicited calls for "due process" but nothing about innocence. Let's all be courteous to the opposing voices and recognize that we know very little about the truth.
