It's less important that they care about football than...
it is that people care about their football. UCF cares about football, no one that watches football cares about UCFs football. We don't care about football tends to be the result of not being any good at football, like the Hoos. When they have a little success, they suddenly seem to care..I know there aren't a lot of data points to prove that, but there are a couple over the last century.
