Can work? Question is can you really blow up conference with 8 votes and GOR along with it? I am skeptical even that could be done without a questionable ugly legal battle over it and all the $$$. ACC feels alot like the Big East did in 2003, except much harder and more costly for Miami in this case FSU to leave. If 8 can't blow up conference and GOR with it, and ESPN will pay more for SMU, CAL and Stanford; then I am not sure why FSU, Clemson, UNC, NCSU would not support expansion, especially with the new schools foregoing or taking dramatically low share of media $$$ for several years? Is delay all about ACC getting best deal out of schools in terms of low payouts early in their membership? and FSU and others pushing for new money to be distributed based on merit model vice = share? Another issue is apparently UNC/NCSU were ready to flip vote if Calford membership were for football and basketball only.
