Our best bet is to set up a completing CFP through the NCAA.

Something crazy like, 24 teams, with all conference champs getting auto bids. Allow teams to be in it if they want (or not) regardless of whether or not they are also in a bowl or in the other CFP. Hold it in the Spring, with teams hosting it in their venues, etc. I think that would eventually overtake the LIV CFP, just like the NCAA tourney did over the NIT.
