The ACC's problem is its lack of large state universities

and too many private universities. If the ACC lived up to its name, it would have Miami, Florida, FSU, GT, UGA, South Carolina, Clemson, UNC, NC State, VT, UVA, Maryland, WVU, Penn State, Rutgers, Pitt and Syracuse and maybe UConn or Duke to round it off to 18.
