If this is even in the cards, it would be tough for the SEC and BIG

to compete in basketball. Apart from a few blue bloods, and a lot of money, I'm not convinced they will be able to stack all of the coaches like they do in football. I also think that the consolidation of all the football brands may garner a lot of interest at first, but as soon as some of these blue bloods go the way of Nebraska, there are going to be a LOT of fans getting weary of their once dominate scool leveling off at 8-4 7 7-5 records year after year. They have the money to pay their coaches, but imagine the pressure if you are a mid tier Big10 or SEC school paying millions to coaches that can't win. There will be a tremendous turnover of coaches moving forward, and there is no way a Mississippi State or a Purdue is going to compete for a title. No matter how much money they throw at their program.

VT wouldn’t go to the SEC if UVA didn’t have a seat at the table.

P2, if the ACC folds VT & UVA would like to go to the same conference, but

I really hope the 4 VA/NC schools can stick together also.

That's my first choice and especially in the SEC. I think admissions
