Why do you.....

say he was the wrong guy to begin with? Who do you believe would have been better choices and why? Are there very many college presidents that are big time college sports experts and who might they be? Of the ones you would consider "to have a clue" how many do you consider effective at their real job of running the institution they head? I am not sure what realistic expectations might be for these presidents considering that athletics generally represent 10% or less of the entity they are charged to lead. I also suspect they rely quite heavily on the supposed experts(AD's) they employ to guide that segment of the operation so there is probably at least a little responsibility on their part as well.
