I dont think they will

The history of the big 10 and specifically Michigan to the institution for over 100 years, generate their culture. Anti catholic bias by Michigan in the 1920's then in the seventies, ND asked to joined and was turned down. ND celebrates it's independence and frankly don't trust their future to the Big 10 (or any conference).. They will ride independence until it's critical and appears there is NO panic for them. They just move on, recruit well and get their 70-75 million TV rights
