Headed for a Full time Transfer Portal?

I read somewhere that the dates on that College Football Transfer Portal had been expanded to two time frames per season with no restrictions on times used. Arkansas has had recent head football coaching changes with drastically different coaching philosophies. Arkansas lost 4 athletes all recruiting by a previous coaching staff in the transfer portal. Lost some more that didn't start. However those 4 were all from south Louisiana and two were starters on the Hog defense that went directly to LSU. LSU had huge exits from their program in that transfer portal due to firing Orgeron. One had one year eligibility left and the other was a DB with 2. Arkansas did get a couple from LSU that literally amounted to it all being a trade. I noticed when Pittman and the three players he took to SEC media day were interviewed, everyone of them were asked a question about those LSU portal transfers from Arkansas. Everyone of them seemed to have a scripted response. Our bros or great people and we wish them the best of luck. Nobody said the obvious about them turning their back on the Hog program. My point is that the Transfer Portal is very disruptive. Those reporters were looking for an obviously disruptive response with the portal questions. What is that portal about? Providing athletes that don't play an immediate opportunity to play which is noble or is it about a player getting disciplined for poor play and just in a rage telling coach to stick his head where the sun doesn't shine and then hitting the transfer portal? Having the transfer portal once a year sufficed. Having the transfer portal multiple times in a season just encourages the latter. It appears put in as a tool of disruption. A player having two yearly transfer portal opportunities and unlimited times he can transfer is just potential uncontrollable disruption.

Okay you prefer lower numbers, that’s fine, but more disagree than agree.
