Makes you wonder about the reporting on the GOR

The ACC Grant of Rights. What are the clauses, what are the voting procedures, what would need to happen, to break or void or otherwise cancel that agreement? Not speculation and guesses about lawsuits, but hard facts. Has there been an article that lists the procedures for this? Surely it is part of that agreement, or part of the ACC by-laws on voting procedure. I missed that article if so. Where is the true investigative reporting on this issue and the league? Is our media really that bad, or is there some privacy issue that blocks this from public knowledge?

6 ACC teams must leave to break GOR, that’s what’s going around the ACC 🔗**

If 6 or 8 is the magic number to break the GOR...
mjfhokie 07/07/22 06:25 PM ET
The article doesn't really say that would be enough to end the GoR

Slow down I didn't say it was a guarantee, I said it's going around. Here
Stech 07/07/22 03:45 PM ET
Key word there is "could".
tarheelblue 07/07/22 04:02 PM ET
Okay, I just posted the article, take your fight to the writer, not me.**
Stech 07/07/22 04:11 PM ET
I wasn't trying to attack you. Sorry if it came off that way.
tarheelblue 07/07/22 04:12 PM ET
Okay, I am probably as skeptical as you are on these writers, they are
Stech 07/07/22 04:21 PM ET
Question?
Old Line Hokie 07/07/22 03:59 PM ET
Yeah that's the idea of why the GoR makes it so hard for schools to leave.
tarheelblue 07/07/22 04:07 PM ET
If true, SEC takes 4 and B1G takes 2 along...
Old Line Hokie 07/07/22 03:31 PM ET
The B1G may not take Oregon and Washington
Freddyburg Hokie 07/07/22 04:58 PM ET
Are you sure ND vote would count, since they are Independent in football?**
Stech 07/07/22 03:56 PM ET
I am not sure that you can have
TerryD 07/07/22 05:58 PM ET
Don't know but their signature is on the GOR.**
Old Line Hokie 07/07/22 04:02 PM ET
They are on the GOR, but who knows if even the 6 is correct, I don't.**
Stech 07/07/22 04:24 PM ET
if it's, say 8, the SEC could take 6.....
VTejrep 07/07/22 04:51 PM ET
The ND posters sure have gotten quiet, where are you Domer and TerryD?
Stech 07/07/22 03:37 PM ET
Quiet is the word
TerryD 07/07/22 05:55 PM ET
6 to break....SEC takes

What is Duke's viability long-term, with Coach K gone?**
Freddyburg Hokie 07/07/22 04:59 PM ET
you're probably right, as Stech pointed out below. Switch out Duke for NCSt**
VTejrep 07/07/22 05:08 PM ET
Wouldn't put a lot of stock.......
2hhoop3 07/07/22 04:56 PM ET
B1G would take GT in a heartbeat, probably Miami
mrcaniac 07/07/22 04:32 PM ET
I don't see the Big wanting either
VTCALS72 07/07/22 05:00 PM ET
i suppose. if the BIG wants to grab GT and Miami plus ND, that might be a
VTejrep 07/07/22 04:41 PM ET
Neither fills up their stadium, the Dolphins and Falcons are king. It's not
Stech 07/07/22 04:36 PM ET
Maybe Duke, but if they take 6 I would bet on NCSU. Duke to the Big East &
Stech 07/07/22 03:34 PM ET
ya, i could see substituting NC St for Duke but the other 5 seem solid.
VTejrep 07/07/22 03:57 PM ET
I agree, there could be a counter move ESPN vs Fox, take both and
Stech 07/07/22 04:33 PM ET
Is Duke in football much different than Vanderbilt **
OrlandoHokie 07/07/22 05:30 PM ET
That's a tough one, I will go with Vandy, because the SEC schools fill
