Except for a nice run from 2015 until 2018 Washington State has been pretty awful for a long time and don't bring much in terms of fan base. Oregon State has just been atrocious. They bring zero market value. Why waste 2 precious slots on those two?? Wait and see if they can get Oregon and Washington. I doubt they'll get those last 2 but the Big 12 should at least try! The Big 12 has been successfully raided 4 freaking times, by all rights they should be extinct. They lost Colorado to the PAC 12, Nebraska to B1G, Texas A&M plus Missouri to the SEC, and obviously in the 4th raid lost Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC too. Of their last 6 replacement schools only one came from a power conference, WVU! TCU, plus Houston, UCF, Cincy, and BYU are ALL G5 additions. They definitely should not take anymore G5 schools at all. The crocodile tears must be flowing like a tsunami right now at Memphis State, Boise State, SMU, & USF! As I said the other day here, the Big 12 is waiting to see if the ACC will blow up and take whatever schools have any value that remain. We shall see.
