That would strengthen the Big 12 (18)
East: Cincinnati, Central Florida, West Virginia, Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State
Central: Colorado, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston and Oklahoma State
West: Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Utah, Oregon and Washington
Why not add Oregon State and Washington State while you're at it to get to 20? Maybe add Boise State and san Diego over OSU and WSU? Have four 5 team divisions. Taking Colorado ends any hope of the B1G continuing their geographical contiguousness.
It's starting to look like the ACC will stay at 14.5 until 2035-36 unless Notre Dame bolts. If the Irish leave, the ACC won't expand. I read somewhere that if the ACC expanded, they would have to agree on a new GOR. That would be too risky for the ACC to do right now since it might allow some ACC members to jump ship.
