No set number of schools

Glad to see somebody else who believes this. "ALL" of the conferences will grow and organize themselves to their maximum configuration. The numbers may match somehow but it would be a coincidence. I see these two major conferences as being intensely in opposition to each other. They are not working to form a "P2" with a shared playoff, bowl system, etc. I predict that when The B1G completes their expansion and finalizes their new media deal, they will withdraw from the NCAA and form a new regulatory body. They will invite all and any conferences of all levels to join their new body. There will be a new playoff and bowl structure proposed. New BB tournament. We can stop using terms like; Div I, Div II, FBS, FCS, because these are NCAA terms. We can stop using "P5" and "G5" because these are CFP designations. I am assuming that The B1G acts first, but The SEC might beat them to the punch. One of the two organizations will eventually reach a level of membership dominance that causes the other to join them. If you think college football is in turmoil now, stay tuned. Battle lines will not necessarily follow media partner affiliation.
