ACC survives if he's right & they pay way more than expected, $$$$ can buy

you love. The ACC goes and gets UConn who has been better than UNC in basketball the last decade, the ACC goes and gets USF that will be able to thrive IMHO in football in the ACC with a TV platform for Florida recruits, ACC gets San Diego State and maybe Colorado State and have the west covered. The ACC could go get Tulane and Rice if they want big markets. Even if Virginia Tech goes to the P2, I just don't see why the ACC can't survive and be good in football (FSU has not been great lately until last year with a lot of portal guys, and Clemson has been sinking) The ACC can be great in basketball if they add big markets like the Big East did when it formed. I think some of the small privates can become good in big markets like New Orleans or Houston. San Diego State is already very good in basketball and in a huge market. Stanford and Cal have the potential too in basketball being how large Northern California is, they could put their NIL behind basketball and not so much football, they could get really good. like Duke and UVa. ** Edited by Stech at 5/30/2024, 3:24:36 PM

Competing with VT in Danville will not be a part of UNC's calculation.

Boy you missed it, to them the area I described is their area
VTCALS72 05/30/24 08:41 PM ET
I can tell you now, politically, UNC dictating what happens to VT is BS**
ombandit 05/30/24 06:39 PM ET
What politic?

I don't think that non P2 league will be able to function coast to coast.
VTCALS72 05/30/24 06:35 PM ET
ESPN IMHO is going to want/need programming in other time zones especially
Stech 05/30/24 09:51 PM ET
I know he's not very popular here but
Millpoint 05/30/24 12:52 PM ET
So Clemson to the B12?
EDGEMAN 05/30/24 12:55 PM ET
No, he said Clemson to the B1G.

UNC believes the greater good is what is best for UNC, no one else counts**
VTCALS72 05/30/24 09:00 AM ET
That may be the case, but they now have the Board of Governors to deal with
Stech 05/30/24 09:57 AM ET
Well some prognosticators are saying
VTCALS72 05/30/24 12:25 PM ET
Doubt that is the case. SEC holds all the cards ... All of them.
HokieToph 05/30/24 02:20 PM ET
Could be the case, but if so, I believe they will need to take NCSU with
Stech 05/30/24 01:09 PM ET
I won't live long enough to see things "come around" for the SEC and BIG
VTCALS72 05/30/24 01:29 PM ET
The dynamic is UNC and The Board of Governors
DMV Gobbler 05/30/24 11:15 AM ET
Do you think not separated or both to the P2.
VTCALS72 05/30/24 01:32 PM ET
My gut as long as both are in p2 it would be ok
