Use 2024 history as a courtroom lesson
All the discussion over legal aspects dominate the ACC/FSU/Clemson topic as of now. It is the media networks that will make the ACC realignment call.
The latest rumors are that ESPN has worked out a position where the ACC can let FSU/Clemson go and keep the ACC together at established contract rates. I'm not sure about those details but I do believe things like this are to be worked out through FOX/ESPN, not the legal process.
USE HISTORY AS A LESSON
In this year of 2024, whether it was the (1) CFP agreement or (2) the House vs. NCAA settlement or (3) the Revenue Sharing settlement...the court rooms were not the decision makers. They certainly played a positioning role much like we are seeing in the ACC legal conundrum right now. No way this drags out for 4-5 more years. The ACC realignment topic is an extreme dwarf comparison to the three aforementioned college football topics. This next round of realignment will all be settled soon.

The only incentive to settle is if ESPN says to settle.
