If you boil it down to these two factors, you could argue that VT is the

best available school out there for P2. The two factors: 1. Football 2. Territory untapped by both of the P2. Obviously FSU and Clemson have it over us in football, but the SEC is already in FL and SC. But neither the B1G nor SEC is in VA, and wouldn't they love it. NC is bigger than VA, but we have football over any program in that state. That I can tell you. Side note: I guess Rutgers counts for the state of NY for the B1G. But I'm not sure how or why. Syracuse to me is more desirable. Great hoops program. And more football pedigree. But I guess it's about access to NYC.
