Nadia Comaneci scored seven perfect 10’s at the 1976 Olympics, 3 on the balance beam and 4 on the uneven parallel bars on her way to three gold medals.

growing up it seemed like Mary Lou Retton was the face of US Olympics during the '80s. Since Mary Lou and Nadia had the same coach, Bela Károlyi, it seemed like you couldn't mention one without mentioning the other in some way. Especially after Mary Lou got her first perfect 10 because often they would show video clips of both ladies' achievement.
