I would probably include anyone in their late 40s in that group. At least
growing up it seemed like Mary Lou Retton was the face of US Olympics during the '80s. Since Mary Lou and Nadia had the same coach, Bela Károlyi, it seemed like you couldn't mention one without mentioning the other in some way. Especially after Mary Lou got her first perfect 10 because often they would show video clips of both ladies' achievement.
