After a nine month hiatus, just back from a trip to the range.
Pretty decent marksmanship, if I do say so myself.

Practice makes perfect - I have several 9s, an AR and a .22 Ruger and rifle
My son and I love going to the range.

You're smart to do so...
Never thought I'd need or want a handgun, that was then this is now ; bought a little 22LR kel-tec, sure , not the knockdown boom 💥 of a 9 mm or better, but if I can squeeze off 16 rounds in <10", I'm good to go

I would have pointed you towards a Ruger .22 pistol
A little more expensive than your Kel-Tech, but they are great machines! If you decide to move up to a .22 rifle, I recommend a Ruger 10/22. Those are fun little rifles that you can enjoy right out of the box, or modify it to your heart's content.

We typically take a box of 50 9mm each. Separate lanes and targets.
Always tempted to shoot more, but there's not much target left after 50.
