Score! I just paid $300 (plus tip) for a yard guy and his wife to
weed my mulch beds, edge them, and put down a thick layer of mulch. I was going to do it myself, but the mulch alone would have cost me more.

Hopefully the mulch is treated so you do not get termites (:>)
I do not worry about that with a brick house. I love businesses like this. I have a guy who for 20 dollars an hour is going to cut my horse fence line using his equipment and gas. He is not hauling the stuff out, but putting it in a burn pile that will put a Texas A&M fire to shame. I cannot wait to torch the barn fire and drink some beer.

We have a couple like that in my hood...
We've used them for mulching and blacktopping the driveway while we were on vacation last year...sure beats doing it yourself. Other members of the hood use them for everything from lawn care to tree trimming to power washing various things. I bet they make $100,000/year just on my street....

We have a guy who is similarly reasonable with pricing. He and his
bunch can get done in a day or two what would take me several weekends. They also haul off the debris.

Anybody know anyone in Goochland (west of RVA) who will do the same?
