Tiger should be held accountable. But there’s nothing to gain by treating him like a pariah.

financially. And seems to turn a blind eye to the behavior.
It’s one thing to support someone emotionally when they are a mess. It’s another to throw buckets of money his way when he acts that way.
Some would argue that’s part of his problem. Limited accountability.

A little more context to Faldo's concern. The PGA Tour pays Tiger an extraordinary amount of money. Much more than most realize. A $100 million equity payment in 2024 as part of the new PGA Tour Enterprises player equity program. More than $40 million from the Player Impact Program and millions more for his participation on various PGA committees.
I think what Faldo is asking is this: If Tiger isn't willing and able to fix whatever's wrong, should the PGA continue to support him at that level?

Maybe if Tiger can cure cancer or invent speed-of-light intergalactic travel he might be welcomed back to the good graces of the boatload of buttheads who couldn't accomplish what he has in a hundred lifetimes. He's dealing with his issues and it's time to find somebody's else's ass to fry.

...is that he'll make mostly ceremonial appearances on the senior tour. Just enough face time to remain relevant with all his business deals.
