Wondered why they never got any peaches. Peaches grow on second year branches and the Dad was taking so many switches to his 3 boys they never got any second year branches.

They always clearly explained why I was being punished and when the whippin' was done, it was done. No lingering anger or emotion from them. Lesson learned.
