For the Metallica goers...how long did it take you to get out of parking
lots? I live in Christiansburg and was fully prepared for it to take 2-3 hours to get home after the concert. I think we got to the car between 11:15 and 11:30, and finally got home at 12:45. It wasn't nearly as bad as I'd expected. But we were in one of the private lots to the west of the stadium. I'm curious what getting out of the campus lots was like.

Friend parked in lot 1. Said they wouldn’t let them out for a long time. He
Was first in the line to get out after the concert but they blocked everyone leaving that lot as the traffic was backed up and they were also letting the band members leave. He showed me the video of the line of black SUVs being escorted out. He got to his car around 11:45 and got to Christiansburg at 1:30. I parked at Margret Beeks and walked back to the car, got in and was home just before 12.

How much were you charged to park at Margret Beeks?
Curious if they were also charging $60.

If I'm not mistaken, that's his place of employment. Better have been free.
