So maybe you'll never climb Mount Everest...
...but you can take this very cool drone video trip from base camp all the way to the top!

When they offer a fast pass option I will give it a try. I'm not going
to travel that far and spend all that time and money just to stand in line all day to summit. Those lines are insane looking the past few years. Disney and Universal look like they move quicker! I have thought about doing base camp though just to put it all in perspective. A lot of other things to do first though.

After seeing that I will just tell people I did it
I mean they do not have to know I did not physically do it right?

The BOD goes to the top of mountains and "skis" down

After watching that, I'm really not sure what the big deal is with Everest.
JUST KIDDING. That really puts into perspective how grueling of a climb that is. It's certainly not something I will ever feel compelled to do, but I'm impressed by the people who achieve that goal.

Did it show the dead bodies on the slopes?

No. Only those that are in a near death state.

Yeah, I’ve been to tall mountains in the Alps and Rockies
Ice fields and glaciers are crazy dangerous. That video shows it really well. I don’t need to die on Everest. I’ll watch the movies. ** Edited by Hokie1992 at 7/16/2024, 7:16:06 AM

Smart people...how does the Drone's propellers get enough bite in that
really thin air?
ColoVT82 ColoVT82
Propeller thickness, pitch, rotation speed, camber. Same as with mars

I've seen many videos of failed attempts from Everest and K2.
The smart kids have definitely figured something out...and it seems to be a very recent change.

You'll throw out less trash on the mountain by watching the video.
