today's trivia
What couple was the most recent to get married inside the White House? (You must name the bride and groom to get credit for the correct answer. Note that weddings on the lawn or the Rose Garden do not count. The wedding must have been inside the building.)

ding, ding, ding, correct!
There have been several weddings (including some well connected non-First Family members) on the lawn or in the Rose Garden since then, but (former) Sen. Robb and Lynda B. Johnson were the last two to get married inside the building (almost 60 years ago).

Tricia Nixon married Ed Cox in
the White House Rose Garden in 1971. Julie Nixon married Ike's grandson.

They were actually married in NYC, not in the WH, even though RN was
President at the time.
