I am in a townhouse but it is a huge oak tree that was growing over not only my roof but two of my neighbors. The wonderful HOA does not cover it. I put it off for a long time. At first I thought I would just have it trimmed but there is a conservation area that backs up to my property and some of the trees from it were choking the tree in my backyard so my tree was not going to be in good shape long term. The joys of being a homeowner. I have been in the property for 13 years and the neighborhood is 15 years old. An oak tree like that should never have been planted that close to the townhome and that close to a conservation area due to overlap issues.

foot spread and many were planted 3-5 ft from a house. Derp! Of course they are going to grow against the house and the homeowners want the HOA to pay to trim them EVERY frikkin year. Then they ***** about having to pay so much for landscaping. I thought seriously about sneaking around one night with my chain saw and fixing it! But I guess that wouldn’t be very sneaky with the noise the chain saw would make. 🤪

Those cut really well, and are not very loud unless you cut yourself...lol

Sorry to be so negative, but my experience with new appliances purchased this century has not been positive. But, YMMV.

"durable goods" includes they are expected to last at least 3 years. So 3 years is durable? WTH? Let's not set the bar too high out there.

The dryer that just blew has went through 3 heating elements in the last 4 years. 2 of them blew again before the warranty period expired. We have been putting cheap band-aids on it to avoid having to buy a new one. My wife finally enough just go buy a new one. I expect the same cycle to happen with this one eventually as well.

steam functions. It does everything but fold the clothes, ha ha. I luv those all day delivery windows, too... So a bit of unsolicited advice on your dryer & vent hose: if its not the premium-grade metal coil, do yourself a favor and replace it as those cheaper ones tend to clog up w/lint. Since mine is gas, and the vented air is really hot, my HVAC tech suggested that at least once a year, to unscrew & remove that plastic bracket which holds the lint filter, and vacuum the inside of the dryer to keep it as clean as possible.

This close to Christmas they are coming Wednesday to deliver.
