Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail
I am considering a trip to the RJT golf trail that would include Ross Bridge, Oxmoor Valley (both courses), and the Judge and Senator at Capitol Hill. How are the courses? Is it worth the trip?
I am also considering going to Arcadia Bluffs in Michigan and hitting a couple of other courses along with way such as Harbor Shores and American Dunes.
Tough choice!!! Thoughts from anyone who may have been to these are much appreciated.

Belevedere Golf Club. Arcadia is going to have similarities to Whistling Straights, except it’s natural topography. They had to move a ton of dirt at WS.

Now, I am biased because I'm a huge MacDonald/Raynor fan. The one course at Arcadia was totally designed in Raynor style. And the scenery will be better. Michigan really sux, but that area of Michigan where the golf is does not suck.
Architecture-wise (which I always regard as the most important golf-ability factor) Arcadia is much better than anything in Alabama. But it's far from the most rewarding piece of golf architecture in the immediate area -- that would be Crystal Downs.
I confess I have never played Arcadia or Crystal Downs, nor even played in Michigan. However, I'm a lifelong golf architecture nerd with a lot of contacts who HAVE played everything up there. And what I've said is the verdict amongst the general population in my circle.
