Back when matches were 3 falls (which is why the announcers still say it's 1 fall today). They split the first 2 falls, with the Sheik cheating to get his fall of course, Then Backlund was knocked out with a foreign object while the ref was arguing with Sheik's manager, Sheik had him 1, 2, almost 3 and Backlund escaped just before the 3 count. Made a miraculous recovery and pinned him to roaring chants of USA USA USA.
Ahhh yes, good times....
