Most Steve Miller songs I can not stand. Great music but the horrible lyrics make me cringe.

wasn't an awful song I guess but there is some pretty good guitar in the second half. Of course the song is like 45 minutes long so you have to suffer the bad parts to get to the good part.

A 45 minute song?! The record company was Flirting With Disaster letting
them put that one on an album.
But albums were at most 30 minutes a side, so you're at least exaggerating a little.
