I’m not a doctor but I had a branch stuck in my eye when I was in ninth
grade that left a red stain on the white of my eye for 25 years. I never told my parents or went to the doctor. I laid on the ground until my eye teared the debris out so I could see to walk home where I washed my eye out & went to sleep. The next morning the eye felt better except for the red stain but it seemed fine since I could see.
It made me realize that not everyone really looks at your eyes because while I had the red stain for at least 25 years. I knew some people for years before they ever noticed it, including my mother. Once in a while out of the blue some friend would start looking at me real closely & ask what’s wrong with my eye. I could usually guess what they were about to ask before they asked. I’d have to tell them that it had been there ever since the knew me and what had happened. It slowly went away over the years.
Again, I’m not a doctor.

Usually I Google stuff like that and then often proceed based on that.
