Last week while working with some old drywall I punctured my left index finger with a rusty screw. It bled and all that. I then Googled it (not knowing when I last had a tetanus shot). Google said I should get a tetanus shot w/i 48 hrs if I hadn't had a booster in the last 10 years. So, I showered and then went to Urgent Care. Continuing . . . After signing some paperwork the paramedic took me into one of their rooms and asked some questions and said they would give me the shot. So, I waited and waited . . . To kill time I texted with my sister. Sent her a couple of photos of the Drs. office. Then I tried to get on the Drs. computer (photo). Still waiting. Then a nurse comes in. She sits next to me and asks a couple of health questions ("What are you allergic to?" Me: "Nothing", etc.). Then she asks "How do you feel?" (Music to my ears)-Me: "Well it feels like my jaw is starting to lock up." She laughs and then says: "Well let's hurry and get you that shot." Within 2 minutes I had the shot and was outta there.
