I remember going to 2-a-days at Swanson Jr. High (Arlington) in 1975,

on a field freshly "treated" with ground up cow pie fertilizer. They couldn't do it in June and let the rain do its thing all summer. No, no, no. Had to put it down in late August. Pretty nasty, but toughened us up, I guess, planting our faces in it all day. Love to see somebody try that now up there, lol. That place has done a complete 180 from those days.
