Hear me out
Studies have shown that from 30-40% of the population who would test covid positive, are asymptomatic. Why then is it assumed that, among the symptomatic testing positive, the symptoms are due to covid? Flu and RSV are quite prevalent in the general population as well, we're told. But are there home test kits for these? My guess is that many of those testing positive for covid, after experiencing symptoms, may actually have something else.
