And there certainly is no reason you couldn't have asymptomatic COVID and symptoms from flu, or something else. But what does it matter? If the point of the test is to inform you of having COVID so you can make decisions to treat yourself or protect others (stay home, etc), what difference does it make? If you're popping positive on an RAT test for SARS-COV2, you've got the virus and are likely infectious. Really low rate of false positives on those tests.
