Just back from my first visit to Blacksburg in ~20 years
Was in town for a fraternity reunion, which was fantastic as I hadn't seen some old friends for 25-30 years. But I also got to go to the baseball game on Saturday (amazing) and walk through campus a few times. One of those was from TOTS to the Residence Inn on Prices Fork at 130 am, with a stop at the 4/16 memorial with not another soul in sight. Stopped at Eastern Divide Friday afternoon on the way into town, and Gillie's and College Emporium on the way out of town. Can't believe how the campus has grown (and improved) and how the town has changed. Definitely planning on it not being another 20 years until the next visit.

I visited several years back. It's hard to visit unless intentional.

I prefer visiting during the summer, when it isn't as crowded.

Pretty gentrified. Crappy/low cost apartments close to campus are gone
